Find a Cleaner

The CFS network is managed by the OnSite Fabricare/BlindCleaners.biz Network.

All of the independent cleaners who are part of the Certified Fabricare Specialist program are required to go through their basic certification training program at OnSite Fabricare's state of the art training facility. The emphasis throughout the training, and beyond, is quality and professionalism. The instructor for the training has been cleaning all types of blinds and draperies since early part of this century. The certification training is a practical two day blend of hands-on and interactive classroom sessions where the attendees become familiar with the best procedures for cleaning all styles of high end window coverings, including the full line of Hunter Douglas Window Fashions and other major brands.

Some of the products that are included in the training are Luminette® Privacy Sheers, Silhouette® Window Shadings and Duette® Honeycomb Shades by Hunter Douglas as well as pinch pleated draperies, roman shades, fabric vertical blinds, valances and more. Attendees are also taught the art of safe spot removal in order to give their customers the best possible results, while emphasizing concern for the welfare of the fabric. We don’t want to be the cause of damage!

Continuing education is a requirement in order to maintain their certification under the CFS brand. Change is inevitable, so every 2 years all members are required to go through a recertification training to insure they are up to date on new fabrics or window coverings as well as any new or updated cleaning processes or chemicals.

OnSite fabricare supports its certified member to the fullest with a support staff as well as unconditional support from their fellow members of the CFS network. The CFS members subscribe to the philosophy of “A brand is only as strong as its weakest link!” The members also receive support in the form of research and development in new chemistry as well as ongoing testing with Hunter Douglas and other window covering manufacturers on cleaning their existing or new products.
